Madge May, RN
Home Health Administrator
Madge began her employment with Memorial Hospital’s Home Care Division in 1992 as a field clinician in Martin County, Kentucky. Shortly thereafter, she worked as a patient care supervisor, assistant administrator, and became Memorial’s Administrator in 1999. She provides administrative oversight and leadership for Memorial’s five home health agencies. Madge has 15 years of home health experience in addition to a background in long-term care and medical surgical nursing.
Madge is accountable for the operation of all agency programs and assumes the responsibility for meeting the department’s mission through personnel management; including selection of staff, monitoring of performance and evaluation and the acceptance of patients for care. In addition, Madge is responsible for maintaining intercommunications, clinical management, resource management, and business development. She organizes and directs the department’s ongoing functions in compliance with all applicable state and federal rules and regulations.
She is actively involved with the Kentucky and West Virginia State Home Health Associations and serves as an elected member of the nominating committee for Kentucky Home Health Association.
Vanessa Cline-Cassady RN, Branch Manager
Martin County Home Health
Vanessa joined home health in February of 1991 as a staff nurse. During those 16 years she has worked as a staff nurse, case manager, educator, patient care coordinator, assistant administrator and currently as branch manager for the Martin County Home Health office. Prior to joining home health she worked as shift supervisor in an intensive care unit for 3 years.
Vanessa graduated from Prestonsburg Community College in 1988 with an Associate Degree in Nursing. She’s originally from the Martin County, Kentucky area and currently resides in Martin County with her twin sons.
